FAQ

Frequently asked questions about legalisation in Slovakia

How long does legalisation in Slovakia take?
It depends on the ground and how busy the authorities are. At the first assessment we show a realistic stage-by-stage schedule — filing, processing, card — with no “in a week” promises.
What if my permitted stay is about to expire?
Do not wait for the last day: most procedures require filing before the term ends, and the filing itself keeps your stay lawful until the decision. If the deadline has already passed there is a separate route — we look at it case by case.
Can I apply without speaking the local language?
Yes — we handle the communication with the authorities and prepare the documents. A language certificate is only needed where the procedure requires it, citizenship for example, and we flag that in advance.
Do you guarantee the outcome?
Nobody can guarantee a decision of a public authority, and we do not make such promises. What we guarantee is a correctly prepared file, deadlines kept and an honest assessment of the chances before we start.
